Pha Real Entertainment, a dynamic entrant in the entertainment sector, comprises of four aspiring individuals whose passion for music is utterly deep.
These individuals are Kosmichael Dillon, Yashima Hamer, Corine Evans, Tanaka Roberts and Elizabeth Dillon.
Their passion for music was instilled from childhood being around family members and friends who have left their marks in the music business.
Raphael "Count Mug" Dillon, the father of Elizabeth and Kosmichael and grandfather of Yashima, was famous for the events he held with the late Clement ..Sir Coxsone.. Dodd back in the 1960..s (B-Bop and Ska days). Sir Coxsone.. was the founder and owner of Studio One .. that was responsible for making hits for artistes such as Bob Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Bob Andy, Alton Ellis, Might Diamonds .. just to name a few. "Count Mug" on the other hand was a dance promoter and also an excellent jazz player, who had his own band called ..King Alpha Progressive Sonic... Mr. Dillon shared a lot with the team from pictures - to flyers - to stories of his past events. These legends influenced both Elizabeth and Kosmichael to start their career at an early age at Tuff Gong International in the 1980's and 1990's, respectively.
Kosmichael, while at TG Intl, learnt his trade by being around Clive Hunt and Errol Brown, two pioneers in the music industry. He also worked on projects for Sanchez, Chakka Demus & Pliers,Capleton the late Dennis Brown & Garnett Silk and the Lion King Movie sound track, just to name a few. Jermaine is the marketing executive behind this company who has years of experience in international Marketing. Yashima is the young- vibrant and energetic of the group who major in finance. Pha Real started out in February 2006 with an aim to leave our mark, as the above mentioned legends did, by coming with a difference to grasp the attention of our prospective patrons.
When we are not busy in the studio making music, we are outdoor planning events. We believe that people are more interested in versatility in entertainment and tend to turn away from the recurring similar themes/ events. The team is in the studio working hard on some major projects........ We are looking forward to an excellent year come 2011/2012 and thanks for everyone's kind support.
